Additional Benefit for Snow Sports Travel Insurance
Insurance Cover is provided free of charge
if you are participating in a snowsport activity in New Zealand on the International Travel Plan or within Australia, without medical cover, on the Australian Travel Plan.
 You must select the Snowsport Option for all other regions and destinations. Includes snow boarding, skiing and ski biking.

Cover for Ski Lift Passes:
Cover for non-refundable pre-paid ski lift passes, or ski equipment hire or tuition fees that cannot be used due to your illness or injury sustained during your trip.

Ski Run Closure:
Cover if you are prevented from skiing at a pre-booked ski resort for more than 24 continuous hours during your trip, because of insufficient snow, too much snow or high winds causes a total closure of the lift system.

Hire Replacement Snow Equipment:
Cover for: the reasonable cost of the hiring replacement equipment if your snow skiing equipment is lost, delayed or damaged during the trip. Please read the PDS.

QBE Assist can coordinate medical evacuation and repatriation for those travellers who become seriously injured or ill whilst travelling abroad.
Cooling off Period ... If, having purchased the policy, you want to return it, you can do so within 21 days of receiving the Certificate of Insurance and obtain a full refund, provided no claim has been made and your trip has not commenced. The Cooling Off Period does not apply to policy or trip extensions.
